Tybee Arts Association Labor Day Weekend Show and Sale
Aug 30 – Sept 1, 2013
Show and sale of art by Tybee Arts Association members. Local artists will show their art, including paintings, driftwood sculpture, fiber arts, stained glass, prints, jewelry, photography, art quilts, prints, glass art, pottery, handcrafted furniture, and much more.

Savannah Sand Gnats Double-Header
Come out to Historic Grayson Stadium and see the Sand Gnats, Savannah’s very own minor league baseball team, compete against their rivals, the Greenville Drive! There’s great fun for the family and fans of all ages; so don’t miss your chance to meet Gnate the Gnat and enjoy some good old-fashioned baseball fun!

Savannah Craft Brew Fest
Overlooking the Savannah River and the Historic Savannah skyline, the Savannah Craft Brew Fest presented by Abita Beer will feature as many as 150 different craft brews available for sampling. The Brew Fest will include educational sessions, a corn hole tournament, live music and a brand new cider garden.

Labor Day Weekend Ultimate Tailgate
Watch your favorite college football teams kick off the season on River Street. Multiple games will be playing on three large inflatable screens: The Arbor Stage will feature a 15-foot screen in addition to two 10-foot screens at each end of Rousakis Plaza. Make sure to bring your favorite chair and come early to stake out your space near the big screens! Weekend festivities will take place through Sunday, Setpember 1! Midnight Garden Ride and Good & Evil Party
A unique event, the perfect Labor Day Weekend accompaniment to the Savannah Craft Brew Fest and the Savannah Century. Join hundreds in turning the night streets of Savannah into a wave of blinking lights, music, and pedal powered fun at the 5th Annual Midnight Garden Ride presented by New Belgium Brewing. Proceeds from this casual, family-friendly 10 mile ride through downtown benefit Savannah Bicycle Campaign’s efforts to build a better Savannah through bicycling. Finish the ride off with great live music, food and drink during the Good and Evil Party. This year’s concert will be in Telfair Square and feature the A.J. Ghent Band!
Time: 7 p.m. Costume Contest • 8 p.m. Bike ride begins

Enjoy a scenic bicycle tour of the Lowcountry or test your endurance by doing the “Big Bridge Ride” with options for 25/37/56/69/103 miles. Walkup registration on Friday at The Bicycle Link (210 W. Victory Dr.) 4-8 p.m., Saturday at The Bicycle Link, 3-6 p.m. and Sunday at The Distillery ride venue (416 W. Liberty St) from 7-8 a.m.

Tybee Labor Day Beach Bash
The 6th annual Tybee Labor Day Beach Bash will get underway on Tybee Island on Sunday, September 1st, 2013.
Folks can enjoy ocean breezes, live music and fireworks from the Tybee Pier and Pavilion. Free live entertainment from the Swingin’ Medallions will start at 7 p.m. The band has performed live with Bruce Springsteen and has been featured in the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Enjoy the fireworks display from the pier, the beach or anywhere on the island. The fireworks will blast off around 9:15 p.m. Click here for more information.
